The Wickenburg area offers a wide variety of home choices. From Historic homes in the down town to Million dollar villas on 100’s of acres.

PRICE RANGES

In the lowest price ranges you will find older homes in neighborhoods, the prices climb as these homes get larger and newer.  These days you won’t likely find new construction until you get in the $200,000 range.  As prices climb still further the opportunity for homes on larger lots start to pop up, but in general you need to get over $300,000 to find homes on over 1 acre in Wickenburg.  As you climb further in price the homes get larger and newer, and the acreage gets more usable and more accessible.  As prices reach into the $400,000’s that is when you start to see a more and more availability of newer homes on acreage.  As you look higher and higher in price you will find nicer, and larger homes, and also larger and more usable acreage.  The availability of home continues well in the million dollar range.  Keep in mind that our surrounding areas typically offer more home or more acreage for the same money.

TYPES OF HOME CONSTRUCTION

Wickenburg has not seen the large scale track home development like the bigger cities have, and so don’t expect to find rows of model homes to walk through.  Most all of our homes are custom built, consequently the quality of homes is a step above what you might find in a large scale development.   There are two ways that new homes are typically built around Wickenburg.  The first way is for an individual to buy a lot, and hire a builder, the second way is for a builder to buy a lot and build a home for resale.  We have a number of local builders, and so we will typically have a number of new builder spec homes available. The zoning in Wickenburg rarely allows manufactured housing, but our surrounding areas all allow manufactured homes.
