	There is still land to be had around the Wickenburg area. You might think Wickenburg would have land in abundance, but keep in mind that Wickenburg is surrounded by public land, both BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and State Trust land, and thus the quantity of privately owned land is limited. A typical parcel of land in Wickenburg is one to five acres, often but not always our land is zoned as horse property, and almost always our land is restricted to site built homes only. If you are looking for land that allows manufactured housing then you will want to look at our surrounding area. Home owners associations are rare around Wickenburg, but CC&R’s (Covenants, Coves, and Restrictions) are very common. The CC&R’s are generally very basic covering things like the size of the home, and restricting things like fowl odor, or broken down cars in the front yards. Although one to Five acres is most common, there are smaller lots available at times, and generally there is a good selection of parcels ranging from 5 to 20 acres. It is less common to find parcels of land exceeding 10 to 20 acres in Wickenburg. Those few tracts of larger acreage in the Wickenburg area are of course highly sought after by developers. Many of our larger tracts of land are a result of a Guest Ranch that has decided to sell off land. Thus if you are developer looking at the Wickenburg area you are wise to not just look at land listing, but also at the residential listings that include large acreages. Our surrounding areas do also offer an abundance of land. These surround areas may be a viable option to find larger more usable acreage and at a more reasonable price than can be had in Wickenburg.
