Monsoon Season is here
Every
Summer in late July the moisture starts to build. With our
proximity to the Bradshaw Mountains we get a show each afternoon as the
storms build. Much of the time they dissipate or blow off another
direction, but at some point we will get more than just lighting and
blowing dust. This first photo was shot July 22nd, and no we did
not get any measurable rain fall in town.
July 25th, We saw our first hard rainstorm that covered all of the Wickenburg area, I shot a couple photos of the Sols Wash flowing through town...
August 1st. Several more storms have already found their way through town, so far it has been a very wet monsoon...
