The red-brick Garcia Schoolhouse was built in 1905 on land
donated by Don Ignacio Garcia who is considered the "father
of Wickenburg
education." The present building replaced a small wooden
building brought from the Vulture Mine and erected in 1895.

The Garcia Little Red Schoolhouse is on the National
Register of Historic Places.
